The Spinosaurs unleashed part six Irritator Friday

The Irritator like all spinosaurs would be  associated with environments where they had access to water systems such as river delta where they can use their special hunting adaptations to pluck large fish from the water. The skull of Irritator displays the key characteristic in spinosaurids in that jaws which are long and filled with large but relatively thin teeth suitable for seizing slippery prey, giving Irritator skull that crocodile like appearance. Irritator was, despite the skills it had was a scavenger carrion. Like all spinosaurids they are known to include other types of prey into there diet and the teeth were made for holding prey not killing it. The claws of Irritator were huge probably use fro ripping flesh. Irritator was 8 meters long and the skull was estimated 84 centimeters long roamed in the Albian of the Cretaceous.
