What is a dinosaur ?

O yeah!!!!! it's Friday, you known what that means. Dino Lord's got to give you something to end your weekday with. So i am going to tell you  what a dinosaur is and why is it like that.

There was a time people thought dinosaurs were dump lumbering lizards and a scientific failure. Nothing can be further from the truth. First dinosaurs are not lizards, there wise intelligent, majestic birds. If look closely at the Utahraptor you see it had feathers used to pick up speed for chasing down prey. Let's look at Rahonavis, this is a good example of evolution of birds from dinosaurs. Rahonavis was a raptor but its size and physical appearance may given people the idea it was a bird. This creature had wings that were not used for flying but for gliding from tree to tree, like Microraptor but smaller.

  

Dinosaurs were able to adept to there environment by traveling in packs and being able to known what to eat and what not eat. During back in the Jurassic in china there was a sauropod Shunosaurus, a dinosaur that evolved with a club on it's tail. In china there were mushrooms that were red and if a Shunosaurus ate them they would get drunk, but they remember not to eat them.

Dinosaurs are the most intelligent creatures on the planet. If recall the most intelligent dinosaur, the Dromaeosaurs(raptors). Dromaeosaurs are fast,smart,strong and lethal group the roamed through all the periods of the Cretaceous period. There is something that all Dromaeosaurs had in common, they had that one weapon that could turn the tide in any battle, the large claw on it's foot. Raptors would corner a meal in a spot where there claws can get multiple strikes and bring there meal down.

 

Dinosaurs had there own animal kingdom, there would be a time where there be a apex predictor on top of the food chain, but there would come a time where a balance of power would be shifted into another predictor. A example of this is with Torvosaurus and Allosaurus at a watering hole. Allosaurus would be the apex predictor over all when a Torvosaurus came, because of it's size it would see Allosaurus as a meal more than a threat and the power of the watering hole would go to Torvosaurus. Another example is Ceratosaurus and Allosaurus in the Jurassic. Ceratosaurus was not as smart or big as Allosaurus but it was very deadly because it a set of horns on its head and snout. When Allosaurus came it had the superior skills needed to over thrown Ceratosaurus became king of the Jurassic.
