Dino Lord's gonna give you something very different. Yinlong Thursday.
Yinlong represents the earliest identifiable ceratopsian dinosaur. Despite the small size and bipedal stance, the descendants of Yinlong would evolve into the huge quadrupedal herbivores like triceratops that lived at the end of the Cretaceous. While the teeth of this dinosaur were with out a doubt a herbivore, gastroliths were also found inside the skeleton roughly where the stomach would have been. Not only would these mash swallowed plant matter to release further nutrients, this process would follow into generations of the species. Yinlong was found in china and was after the famous film Crouching tiger.
